Random Weave Basket Workshop

Let’s Weave with Cindy Wood! Random Weave is a brilliant basketry weaving technique ideal for creating not only baskets, but also stunning wall hangings, sculptural pieces, and basically all kinds of beautiful shapes and structures. We will utilise the naturally foraged fibres, including vines, palm sheaths, and Bangalow Palm Inflorescence, or Palm Danglies, as these are abundant here in sunny QLD, to create a unique piece or two. This workshop will certainly inspire you on your weaving journey and have you gathering your neighbour’s garden foliage.
