This is an advanced workshop suitable for experienced and proficient crocheters. Take your crochet skills to the next level and learn how to crochet beautiful flowers and coral shapes for decorative pieces that you can use in your own projects. We assume you know how to do double and treble crochet stitches (single and double crochet in American terminology).
In class we will make a number of flowers /coral shapes and attach them to a crocheted base which will be filled with poly fibre fill.
Included in the workshop:
- yarn and poly fibre fill
- written instructions for flowers, coral shapes and bases in case there are any unfinished parts in the class so you can finish them at home.
The crochet base consists of two circles which are not complex to crochet. You can either make them in advance with instructions provided (emailed to you after enrolment), or use bases that Millie will provide. This will allow us to focus the workshop time on more complex crochet shapes.
What to bring:
- 2mm crochet hook
- scissors
- tapestry needle
Tea and coffee provided. Bring your own lunch.
