Learn to weave on a Rigid Heddle Loom
The rigid heddle is easy to use and a great starter loom.
Use our looms or bring your own. You will learn to warp up the loom and weave a simple scarf. Materials: 2x100g balls of 8-ply yarn in coordinating colours. A greater contrast between colours will make a more interesting fabric. Both should be similar fibre content, but cotton or wool are fine. You will make two placemats/table runners and learn the process of weaving lovely textiles from start to finish.
Morning tea will be provided. Bring your own lunch (Coffee, tea, refrigerator and microwave available).
Minimum of 4 students, the class will be cancelled 48 hours prior if the minimum is not met.
